How is Jelly Bean with...

Other Dogs: Jelly Bean gets along great with foster parent’s two adult small- to medium-sized dogs.
Cats: Foster parent does have two cats, but highly recommends that Jelly Bean be adopted to a household without cats.
Children: Foster parent does not have children, but is positive Jelly Bean will be very good with children.

House-training Status: Completely house/potty-trained!
Crate-training Status: Jelly Bean is crate-trained and does extremely well uncrated when left in gated area of the house.
Leash-training Status: Jelly Bean is leash-trained.

General Personality and Energy Level: Mr. Bean is such a cutie-pie. He has loads of personality, and is extremely smart and trainable. Being a Beagle/Pointer mix, he should have mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis.

History: Unknown. Crossroads acquired Jelly Bean from a dog trainer.

Other Comments: We are adamant that Jelly Bean’s next home be his "Forever Home"! That is why we feel strongly that he needs to be adopted into a household without cats, and where any other dogs will be of similar personality and mental/physical levels. Jelly Bean can also be the only dog in the household as long as he is not left alone for more than 4-5 hours during the day, and gets at a good hour of exercise on a daily basis.

¹Fully vetted = Physical exam, DHPP (or DHLPP) and Bordetella vaccines, Rabies vaccine, fecal and/or deworming, Heartworm/Erlichia/Lyme 3-Way Snap Test, Heartworm Preventative, Flea/Tick Preventative
²NYA = Not Yet Adoptable
³F2A = Foster2Adopt: This means that an applicant is "fostering" the dog for a few days to assess how it behaves around them and their other pets. This trial period will let the applicant(s) know whether or not they can successfully bring the dog into their home as part of their family. This only occurs when Crossroads has otherwise completely approved the adoption.
