How is Hershey with...

Other Dogs: Can be possessive of food and treats, but he has been exposed to other dogs and does fine.
Cats: He likes to chase cats. I would not recommend a home with cats.
Children: He does fine around children. He is hyper and energetic, so I would recommend parental supervision around young children, or not being around young children at all.

House-training Status: Hershey is not completely house-trained; might pee on occasion.
Crate-training Status: Completely crate-trained.
Leash-training Status: Walks well on a leash. Has had on-leash dog training.

General Personality and Energy Level: Very high energy. Needs room to run and roam. Very affectionate dog. Loves attention.

¹Fully vetted = Physical exam, DHPP (or DHLPP) and Bordetella vaccines, Rabies vaccine, fecal and/or deworming, Heartworm/Erlichia/Lyme 3-Way Snap Test, Heartworm Preventative, Flea/Tick Preventative
²NYA = Not Yet Adoptable
³F2A = Foster2Adopt: This means that an applicant is "fostering" the dog for a few days to assess how it behaves around them and their other pets. This trial period will let the applicant(s) know whether or not they can successfully bring the dog into their home as part of their family. This only occurs when Crossroads has otherwise completely approved the adoption.
