About Our Organization
Crossroads Animal Rescue is a mixed breed/all breed canine rescue based in Charlotte, NC. We are a North Carolina non-profit corporation and have federal 501c(3) status. Our organization is staffed entirely by volunteers and we depend on the generosity of our doners and sponsors for all of our operating expenses.
Crossroads Animal Rescue provides a second chance to abandoned dogs from local high kill shelters.
In a loving foster home environment our dogs are provided with training and socialization as well as all necessary medical care including, but not limited to, age appropriate immunizations, spay/neutering and microchipping. Additionally, our foster care providers evaluate the dog's personality in an effort to match each dog with the best possible forever home. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that our dogs will never be abandoned again.
In an effort to reduce the number of companion animals abandoned and euthanized annually in our community, we educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering their pets and advocate for adoption.
ONE FAMILY, ONE FOSTER
You can't save them all, but you can save one.
Fostering a dog from a high kill shelter is a rewarding experience. You can help.
